- Exciting and challenging role
- No two days the same
- The chance to make a difference in people’s lives
At Workbridge, our purpose is to help those with disabilities and health conditions find and sustain meaningful work in the employment market.
With 22 locations across New Zealand we work with a wide range of employers, and a diverse range of disabled people, creating positive employment outcomes. We love what we do and are passionate about making a difference. While it’s not always easy, it is immensely rewarding.
We are looking for someone to join our Whanganui team as an Employment Consultant. This is a full time, permanent role of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday business hours.
We work closely with our jobseekers and employers; you will need to be active within the local community and work hard to secure sustainable work opportunities for jobseekers and support employers to find great staff.
We want someone who has stacks of motivation and initiative and who can think outside the square. You will need to be computer savvy and able to support people to develop CVs, surf the net and complete online applications. You will also need to enter case notes into our database.
We work in an outcome-based environment – so we measure what we do, and you need to be OK with this.
This is an interesting and rewarding work and we know that the right application may come from a wide variety of different backgrounds and have a diverse set of employment and education experiences to draw from.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working cooperatively with the team as well as independently with customers to achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
Workbridge is a fun, interesting and rewarding place to work. We value our clients, our employees and work hard to create a workplace that recognises and rewards great work.
If this role sounds appealing and you have the background we are looking for, we’d love to hear from you about joining our amazing team.
Your application needs to include a current CV, along with a cover letter, both need to clearly demonstrate your ‘match’ with this role.
Workbridge is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion. If you have any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at the time of application to assist you through the recruitment process.
